Start Somewhere.

So here i begin with a new blank page, a new blog, directed fully and whole-heartedly to a place i've only known my whole life: THE BAY AREA. it's home, and frankly and proudly, it's so much.

Besides the edges of the West Coast to Seattle and Arizona (and even that vague memory of a cruise to Mexico when i was five-- does that even count?), i've not done much traveling. people always tell me that i need to explore the world and see new things in exciting new lands. i really want to, of course, but why wait for adventures then when here in a place i love so much, i'm always running into excitement?

this will be an insight into San Francisco and beyond, exploring my own personal hidden gems and favorites of yes, the much-proclaimed "Paris of the West."  San Francisco is truly romantic; it may not be the biggest or most international urban spot in America, but it sure is bursting with want and enthusiasm for carpe diem. it's got that laid-back European pace of life and setting that invites its dwellers to act in the same peaceful and beautiful way-- to just laugh and enjoy life, to love it.
